This Privacy & File-Handling Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you submit a movie for services such as Chinese translation, Golden Globe submissions, and Oscar submissions. By submitting your materials, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit your film through our forms, we collect the following information:

Film details (title, duration, language, release date, etc.)
Contact details (name, email, company)
Links to view your film (with access password)
Subtitle files and related production documents (press kits, credits, etc.)
Notes or instructions provided by you

We do not request or store unnecessary personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

To prepare, process, and deliver the requested service (translation, Golden Globe or Oscar submission)
To communicate with you about your project
To ensure compliance with the eligibility requirements of the relevant award body (Golden Globes, Academy Awards, etc.)

4. File Handling & Security

All links and passwords provided remain strictly confidential and are accessed only by authorized staff involved in your service.
Files (subtitles, press kits, etc.) are stored in secure, access-controlled folders.
We strongly encourage password-protected links (e.g., Vimeo, Google Drive, iCloud) for film submissions.
No physical copies of your film are required.
Files will be deleted from our servers within 30 days of service completion unless otherwise agreed with you.

5. Third-Party Access

For submissions (Golden Globes, Oscars), we may forward your film link, subtitles, and press materials to the official award submission portals on your behalf. No third-party outside of the submission process will have access to your files.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your files earlier than our 30-day window by writing to us.
You may request confirmation of what information we hold about your project at any time.
